The thing yesterday was spontaneous, he was walking off towards the dressing rooms when that corner of The Holmesdale and The Main Stand rose to give him some applause. He responded.When he left last season there were only 2000 or so at his last game and Palace fans are genuinely grateful for the job he did (if not the dirge football we had to watch).
The media, egged on by the outraged Tories of Hertfordshire (you’d think they’d have more to worry about) have made this out to be something much more than it is. Storm in a tea cup.

Nah I saw that, can just relate to Watford for it as well.
