You may be getting mixed up with the definition of "likely to happen"

At a guess, maybe last season? We won quite a few at the start of the season.

Edit: Just checked - we actually won our first 7 in a row last season.

When I went to Ngaruawahia on that camp trip back in the 70s, I never thought the nightmare of Ross Pottinger's homesickness would hauntingly accompany said camping sortie. I genuinely believe, even now, 50 years later, that many Evertonians on this august forum exist in some vacuum of similar disbelieving WTF!ness
But the reality is now hitting hard... and penetrating with unlubed, cold-steel sensibility.
