I think we should have just been less afraid of being a team that finishes 5th to 7th, loses to better teams in the cup and has a European run in it with luck but shouldn't expect it.

I think we still shouldn't be afraid of this and probably aren't because of how crap we are now. But if we started finishing 6th again on average I feel like we'd want to "push on" and it isn't probably realistic for us to do so.

Think as a club, we’re just stinking of small time mediocrity.

Course we did.

In his time since his departure, prior to West Ham he cocked up with United (the impossible job really), got relegated with Sunderland, was fiercely disliked by Weat Ham (1st stint) and failed at Sociedad.

He did literally nothing to merit going for the job, just like Pereira etc.

Done a fantastic job with West Ham this time round but people who have changed their time now he actually is doing well just make me laugh.
