Incompetent refereeing as usual mate, nothing in it, ref decides it's a second yellow, never in a million years is it a second yellow. The keeper is actually more reckless than Jimenez.

It really is bizarre. One week you'll hear pundits and the media remind everyone about 'excessive force' and 'you can't do that anymore' then this. Carragher didn't get there, but he didn't agree with giving Jiminez a yellow.
The process of what the ref did last night is completely flawed and not all down to him. He makes his decision based on a view which must have been a long distance away and goes back to the principle that if you get the ball first, any resulting contact between two players is a foul by the player who doesn't touch the ball. He then has two players on the floor. We all dislike how long VAR takes, but here you have it not being used when it would be appropriate to do so and actually in a way that wouldn't even delay the game. Leeds got a huge decision that's actually gained them 3 points.
The Refs probably will do the usual, get together an watch it back at their training centre, deliberate, probably conclude they got it wrong privately. But then continue to make the same calls again and again. Last night was a classic opportunity to ask VAR for their view, explain what they're going to give, do I need to check it etc when it is a decision that will directly influence the outcome of a game.
