First time I've watched Arsenal in a while. They are definitely much improved but this is what the quality teams do to you. Liverpool and City have got match winners all over the place. Saka etc just aren't at that level.

They had the rs full backs constantly turning and out of position (especially Arnold) and have just stopped that diagonal ball.

Shows you have to take golden chances though when they come along.....well West Ham did miss about 5 sitters last week but Arsenal have had one golden chance and bottled it

Seeing the way people have banged on about these two players in recent weeks doesn't really match up with this performance at all.

Still if any of Weghorst Lanzini, any Palace striker, any Spurs forward, and Odegaard had taken a chance to score into virtually open nets these games would be very different.

Teams just are not interested in competing with them though. They just give up immediately.

I'd say City were better at keeping the ball and controlling a game but Liverpool's firepower balances that out.

The media just want Pickford out of the international side, that’s the only reason they go on about Ramsdale. Anyone with eyes can see he’s still the disaster he was at Bournemouth and Sheffield United.
