Fancy playing in front of Pickford. You'd constantly be on edge hearing a mackam helium balloon barking incomprehensibly behind you or having a heart attack when you turn round to see him half a yard from you flapping.

As a former goalie myself, you have to command your area and inspire confidence in the defence...he is a good shot stopper and makes the occasional brilliant save, but its not enough. Mind you I was brought up watching Gordon West, Pat Jennings, Gordon Banks initially, and then Southall, Martyn, Shilton etc, so I have high standards for a 'keeper to live up to.
