Why the hell are they playing friendlies this week? I mean qualifiers I get because I'd like to have the Euros and the World Cup but making players travel in a pandemic to play a meaningless game? Really?

Because they scheduled the Euro playoffs during the same window as rounds 3 and 4 of the Nation’s League, it’s to keep those not playing in the playoffs busy to give everyone an equal standing

It ain't, it's Armstrong from Southampton, and Tierney from Arsenal and Christie from Celtic now have to self isolate for a fortnight because theyve been in contact with him meaning they'll miss the first fixtures back.

They can test and isolate. It's how the world is going to operate for a time, and the bigger FAs are in position to do it safely.

Tbf, fifa can hardly say not to play these when every domestic league is going ahead and more importantly European club qualifies with teams already flying around Europe anyway.
