8 points ahead of City.
Anything is possible this season if we can just keep our players fit.
Bonus is that normally the injuries would all appear on the first game after the international break but they have mostly happened this week so can have most of them back for the next match. Not saying we will it but europe looks doable and the fact the Sky big boys are dropping points now before european games kick in is a huge plus for us.

No mention of 1-1 there

That being said, considering you only joined on Tuesday you're either a banned poster coming back to cause bother or a multi, so I'm not going to bother with you anymore

Have a glorious day

City are miles below their own high standards, even last year's not so high standards. This was a wonderful game as Leeds like most teams are no longer afraid of them, any fear factor has long gone. City have never looked as consistently vulnerable over such a lengthy period. They will get some back but elected to not start Fernandinho, their tactics are now known and a template for counteracting them established.

Just staying in the game after half an hour, either level or one down, usually gives you an outstanding chance, they peak early and just go right off the boil.

They adopt a high press early on, dominate possession but it doesn't last, their full backs are both as bad in their way as Pickford is in goal for us, they're giving golden chances to score to the opposition and the whole defence backline is a mess, they normally defend from the front and get away with it, hiding their deficiencies, the cover of Fernandinho and say Rodri providing the protective shield, hiding the horror show behind. That screen doesn't work when they start Fernandinho on the bench and they get badly exposed

Literally takes nothing off the derby and nor should it.

It would be a good bit of insurance if we lost to them that we would still be ahead of them. I guess that’s just me. But the derby is a must not lose regardless I’ll agree
