Chilwell is fine enough but that signing definitely does not represent good value for money. Not sure that matters to Chelsea but still.

Like when we were crap last season we where still always a run of 2-3 games of getting into europa as the teams ahead of us constantly dropped points. Looking at the teams again it’s looking more of the same. Top six could be easy once we get an early grip on it.

We've looked great going forward, but defensively there's been a fair few issues. If we can fix those issues, there's no reason we can't really challenge.

What other team has really played well apart from say Liverpool, who aren't their best either, or at least played consistently? It could be an open, open year.

I think you also have to remember that against WBA we only gave up goals because of outrageous strikes. Maybe we could do better closing them down, maybe Pickford can make a save sometime, but still we aren't giving up too many massive chances especially from open play. Bigger tests are coming obviously including today.

Said it in a few threads now but it will be interesting to see what happens once the European games roll round. Could be a huge opportunity for us.
