I'm not even totally sure they're better. I think Arteta got a few fortunate results including when they beat the RS. Didn't really expect it to happen again.

Great news for us. All indications so far this season are arsenal, chelsea and utd are there for the taking. We need to keep our run going.

Three separate times now the commentators have used “beautiful” to describe pretty routine touches by a Liverpool player. “Beautiful control,” “beautiful pass,” etc. I can’t stop hearing it now that I’ve noticed. They really act like they do things nobody’s done in the history of the sport.

We can't rely on City to bail us out any more. It looks like they're back in "transition" again for a year or two. The league is done, barring a miracle.

The Klopp wave will end eventually though and I won't be paying them any attention until it does and am made up their peak is happening while stadiums are empty.

I'm excited by the fact we look a good match for the kind of clubs I was hoping we'd be competing with this season and are genuinely on the up.

Who knows, when they do decline - and they will - we may pass them on the way up.

I'll preface by saying it is extremely early, but we've been every bit as good as Leicester and the RS who are the other two top teams with us. I just hope we keep it up.

Lump and hope? Sorry, it never was the case under Wenger. That was not his MO. If anything his teams were criticized for trying to pass the ball into the net. This Arsenal team have none of that DNA. It far closer resembles a Moyes team.

Everyone needs to calm down. Chelsea were in the game without Pulisic who absolutely tore the RS apart when he played against them last until Christensen got sent off and Arteta's Arsenal aren't even that good. Yes City being crap makes them favorites again but relax.
