After seeing that City-Chelsea game, how can any Everton fan on here realistically make outlandish claims like "City are on another level to Chelsea" and "not a single Chelsea player would get into City's team"? Chelsea team were far the better side and both sides had key players not playing, which says a lot.

Two things:

- They can be right about the gulf in player quality, but football matches are won as a team. Chelsea is playing excellent team ball.

- There were points, such as after the double sub on of Foden and Gundogan, where City was everywhere and Chelsea couldn't get anything going. The people that think City is on another level believe that their full-strength XI can deliver that for most of a match. YMMV.

Yep, rs got 2 games in hand which could put them 3 points behind Leicester whose next game is against the mancs.

Never under estimate the absolute spawns rs scruffs getting a helping hand just when you think they're down and out.

This Chelsea win makes it a lot harder for them. They will need 5 wins from 5 to have a chance imo.
Hopefully that's done murderpools cl chances in, but you can't discount them until it's over, the spawny swines.

Also, don't rule out a bodgers melt down at Leicester and dour davie moyes wham dying on their arses to hand it to them.

And Chelsea scored the winner when Gundogan/Foden were on the pitch. Plus, Chelsea didn't even have Chilwell, Mount, Thiago, Havertz playing for them. There's no actual evidence to back up that statement about "another level" other than the fact that Chelsea were managed by a Championship standard manager for the last 1.5 years.

Come on Soton, for the good of football.... no, HUMANITY - just win tonight and END. THEIR. SH.1T! Make them pay for all those players they took from you.

Kind of disappointed we have to pretend there is drama for another week now

For the title? Agreed, it's done.

For places 3-7? There's plenty. If Doucoure can go, and can deliver, we can make a run at a 'real' European place. Another Rodgers collapse is in the frame - and it might happen alongside silverware for him. There are a ton of potential storylines, though top 4 for us is no longer one of them.

Wee brendans mob are the ones to be caught. Away to manure and chelsea, home to spurs and theyre in freefall again.
Pool, outside manure game, have an easy run in, although saying that its the easier teams theyve struggled against.
Would love to see them in europa conference thursday night show next season.

19 points off them in the league, last won a league title five years ago. Since then, City cumulatively have picked up 90 points more than Chelsea over that period of time.

They are another level.
