Did you forget about the final.
hence the Probably
Chelsea outclassed City in the FA cup semi
Did you forget about the final.
They defo deserve to be there. I have to say, though, that City swept a team like PSG aside, and I couldn't see Chelsea doing the same. Madrid were truly shocking there tonight. They just handed midfield over to Chelsea. So as good as Chelsea were over the two legs they have to be a distant 2nd favourite.I mean, sooner or later Werner will score, I always think of when Chelsea won the Champions League in 2012, and Torres popped up with a big winner and then scored in the Europa League a year later.
He scored tonight and has largely been, much like Torres was, a flop at Chelsea... so far.
Still agree, and think City will be too strong, but Chelsea fully deserving of their place and just hope it’s a good spectacle.
I think a big thing could also be that City will be able to purely focus on the final from this weekend when they win the league. Chelsea still have to fight for top 4 and have the FA Cup final. In a year when it is clear everyone is knackered that is a huge advantage for Cityi think the final will be a very close game , tuchel tbf has done really well since he landed at Chelsea but city all round have a big squad and i would make them favourites
20 quid on Chelsea please Dave. They defo deserve to be there. I have to say, though, that City swept a team like PSG aside, and I couldn't see Chelsea doing the same. I'd set odds at:
1/2 City
3-1 Chelsea
I just believe that both teams have players that are very evenly matched in their respective positions, where you can't just definitively say that a specific Chelsea player would get into City's team or vice versa. But your first sentence shows that either you're very biased or you haven't thought hard enough about your football opinion.I genuinely don't think a single Chelsea player gets in Man City's first 11. Maybe Kante. But this is not a slight on Chelsea as they are a great team with incredible players. I think they will be the closest challengers to City next year. They also have a lot of young players so could push on very quickly to be at City's level. I just don't think they are there yet

DefinitelyYou certainly are a master debater.
Lol.
Mount and Kante and maybe Pulisic gets a game for City.

Madrid were pitiful, and maybe you could say there was an element of fortune with their run to the final in that
Atlético began to wobble when they faced them, then Porto were no real threat, and for whatever reason, Zidane persisted with Hazard and rushed Ramos back today... didn’t need to.
But you can only beat what is infront of you, and they’ve done that, and I just say, rather comfortably too.
I think City won’t go in that low, but have to be stacked in their favour, they now need to keep momentum, with the league practically sewn up, need to make sure they keep same tempo... whereas Chelsea have springboard of a cup final to boost their confidence.
