Aye mate. The loss to Burnley at home was the final nail in the coffin for me.

Up until that match, I had decided that I was going to invest a substantial amount of hope, optimism and believe in the squad... One last time.

The disappointment that I felt after the match was severe enough for me to say: I've seen enough for this season.

I'm still watching, but I have no expectations for where we will finish... Just get it over and done with, so we can start getting excited for next season.

Edit: This too. It was like the ultimate bitter-sweet moment.
I’m the same .... love the club / been through the highs and lows over the past 45 yrs ... but this season has become a chore. Too many false dawns and missed opportunities. I’ll watch the matches / read GOT / pay attention to the club etc but I’m in the “ hopefully NEXT season we’ll improve ,push on etc .... Everton that !

well stated...sums up my stance on things. The nagging concern I have is that 'Everton that' is now so ingrained in the culture of the club, that this time next year, I will be feeling exactly the same.

Looking at Arsenals remaining fixtures Chelsea aside are easy as they come:

Fulham
Everton
Newcastle
WBA
Chelsea
Palace
Brighton

Potential dark horses for the magnificent 7th
