At every level eminintly sensible, and in the financial context we are heading into might just avert a deflation financial armegeddon come the summer.

The clubs who have owners who will back spending will benefit massively, whereas owners who are not prepared to do so, will suffer.

I see us getting 8th or 9th...a 'nothing' position...which will please our lads as it reduces performance anxiety for next season (low expectations etc). I see us getting top 8. I really don't see a world where we don't. And that would have been the objective for this season. Get into the top 8 and build from there. If we are lucky, maybe we get top 6, which would represent a massive improvement.
