I remember that year.

Diomansy Kamara - who barely did a two for them, all of a sudden turned into some Hybrid of Maradona/Cruyff and started bagging for fun, including a solo goal, against a decent city side, to win 3-2 after being 2-0 down.

Then they went to the Europa league final the season after too, didn’t they? With Erik Nevland, Simon Davies etc

That Man City win still annoys my former workfriend who supports Reading, he blames it for why they went down, but in fairness it was their own doing.

It was 2007-08 they stayed up when Reading went down, while drawing with Derby twice who ended up on that infamous 11 point tally. In the 2009-10 season, Fulham lost 2-1 to Atletico Madrid in the Europa final, so it was not the following season, but two seasons after the one they made that great escape that they got to the Europa Final. Still, after that season under Hodgson, they followed that season with an Europa qualifying season, which makes their 2014 relegation even the more suprising.

Good cross actually. Wolves have been bunging balls into the box aplenty, but few have had pace or been hard to defend.
