I didn't see the penalty in the United game, but how is a penalty awarded after the final whistle? The final whistle ends the game full stop. What happened is equivalent to retrospective action which is not something that's in the rules.
I'm getting sick of obvious bias they'll drag United kicking and screaming into the champions league again.
 
I often read on here that Everton never get dodgy penalties and only the Sky 6 ever do (that's if you also forget Southampton's against Spurs last week lol?)
 
Altough most of us seem to think the new handball rule is a farce, if the refs all stay consistent then none of us can really moan.

That's not how it works. If, after the ref has blown for the end of a half VAR or an assistant referee brings something to his attention that happened before he blew the whistle and before he leaves the field of play then the game can continue.
