What are they talking about? Can’t view it as he’s banned me on twitter.

He's talking about Mendes representing Wolves, Spurs and Docherty in the same deal. Saying football isnt bothered about players going from 6st wet to prime Arnie in 6 months, why would they care about Mendes.

Makes you wonder if PED's are a well known secret.

Thanks mate.

I believe your bottom statement about PEDs is probably in some way true. Wouldn’t surprise me in the next few years there is a major scandal regarding a nation or team doping (hopefully the RS).

I know it’s a pipe dream, it being the RS.

But surely as good a coach Klopp is, there’s got to be a reason why none of their top, top stars have gotten a major injury the last 3 years... or is it just good luck?

I reckon it’s under 20 combined the games Mané, Salah, Firmino, Alexander-Arnold and Robertson have missed in the last two seasons.

Just can’t see in a world where Athletes regularly cheat in American Football, Baseball, Athletics etc that no one, in the biggest sport in the world is cheating.

How many PED bans have there been in football in the last 25 years?

Stam and a few others got done 2002 etc for Nandrolone, but just can’t see players not using them.

Everyone's at it. Some club/national team doctors have just got better stuff than others.

There's just no way there's no doping anywhere in World Football.

It's the worlds biggest sport, with money spinning ad players desperate to make it to the top, and stay there. For owners, it could be the difference between failure and success.

Wouldn't ever pin it on Liverpool, I just don't believe hundreds of clubs aren't using PED's to gain an advantage.

Gomes, severe ankle fracture, back in 3 months for example?

Big Troy went in on his fellow strikers there lol

He told The Sun: “I definitely still see myself as a Premier League striker. I scored double figures last season on one leg. Now I’m over my knee troubles. I’m back on two legs.

“I got ten [goals] in the league from 27 games, which was not a bad return. I know it includes penalties but Bruno Fernandes scores penalties as well at Man United. I’m not comparing myself to Fernandes but I’ve scored the opportunities presented to me.

“How many did Sebastien Haller get last year for West Ham? Six or seven. Or Joelinton for Newcastle? Two. Put it into context: these are £40m players and I only cost £300,000. My time’s not up.

“Physically or mentally, I wasn’t as fit as I needed to be last season but I learnt that I shouldn’t have pushed to play so many games and should have missed one to come back fitter for the next one.

“My character is ‘get up and keep fighting’, unless I’ve been nailed to the ground. I missed over three months at the start of the season with the knee injury and I had a different knee problem at the end of the season.

“But it’s all cleared up now and I’m good to go. If we were playing tomorrow I’d be ready.”
