Today’s Football 2020/21 Season

Not bad from us. Silly goal to give away but broadly comfortable at the back. Very mobile up front. So frustrating that we lost to Newcastle & Burnley. Watching that first half I can’t believe we did.

Looking at Sheffield United in terms of worst Premier League teams

The Derby team that currently hold the record for least points in a PL season had 6 of their eventual 11 points after 12 games

The Sunderland team of 2005/06 that finished with the previous record low of 15, had racked up a third of that after 12 games

The previous worst Sunderland team of 02/03 picked up 10 of their 19 points within the first 12 games

On my end it's because they, somehow, are America's team. Nevermind the fact that we had Tim Howard, Landon Donovan and McBride but did nothing with it, at all.

My lord we, as a club, are just pathetic at marketing ourselves. The stuff with James tho is promising.

Keller, Friedel, Dempsey etc. Think Spurs just went earlier with the US players than us.

Maybe its just my memory but the current SU side don't seem anywhere near as bad as those three were, or the Sland side that went down the last time they exited the PL who were horrifying.

In fact I am not even sure they are the worst side in the current league - Fulham have played worse than they have in games.

They're currently on track to pick up 5 points this season. lol

Jokes aside, as they'll obviously pick up a few wins, I think they'll end on between 20-30 points. And get relegated.
