Manchester City FC can confirm that Riyad Mahrez and Aymeric Laporte have tested positive for Covid-19.
Both players are currently observing a period of self-isolation in accordance with Premier League and UK Government protocol on quarantine. Neither is displaying symptoms of the virus.

Everyone at the Club wishes Riyad and Aymeric a speedy recovery ahead of their return to training and the new season.

Crime of the millennium for me. To the gallows it is then.

I mean it is a very serious disease with complicated repercussions. They could inadvertently infect someone else who might not survive the virus. Why behave so foolishly for a night out? Haven't they ever met girls?

Foden is supposed to be a father with a stable partner. Why is he breaking specific quarantine rules for almost no reward whatsoever?
