3 years of NES and barely any significant injuries.
As it goes they remind me a bit of a Moyes Everton. Get loads of good results then drop load of stupid points (Brighton H Etc), and always come close but never get desired results.

Disgraceful but not unexpected, I really don't understand the FA and what it's point or relevance is now, aside from corruption and keeping the top execs wallets fat obviously.
They pissed all over and destroyed the competition when they let the mancs bugger off out of it for that crappy uefa comp, and then messing about with kick off times and not punishing teams for fielding weakened sides, but to actually strip the funding further from the grassroots, which is the lifeblood of the game, beggars belief.
The whole thing stinks, and we know it's all bent - footballs become a parody of itself, on par with the nonsense of WWE.

Point taken. The radio been going on about this, something I'd overlooked. The anti climax of the past 13 months effort, plus fatigue setting in due to the new season starting could well have an adverse effect.

It started 13 months ago granted but they had a 3 month break in the middle. Think next season will be a bit weird regardless, and probably wildly unpredictable to start with.
