Villa stayed up because Sheff Utd didn't get a goal that should have been giving at Villa first game back from lockdown!
I know we all have things go against us but giving that technology is there for exactly what happened think I would be feeling quite unhappy about it if I was a fan.
Oh well. Bye Bournemouth see you again sometime I expect!

Anyone else find it bonkers that teams will celebrate in the dressing room like Villa just have after surviving by the skin of their teeth?

It's a relief for them, for sure, but as Roy Keane just said it's a bit over the top considering they've won nothing and are pretty much still one of the worst teams in the league. Its almost like they're celebrating being crap.

Can understand after witnessing both Wimbledon and Coventry. It isn't good if you don't learn from it though.

I don't think there is much argument there tbh. The Madrid boys are past their best, Bayern have some good ones but not to KDB's level and no one in the PL touches him.

Tbf, if you were a pro footy player wouldn't you be celebrating getting to stay in the prem instead of having to play lower league? A lot of that villa squad will be at their peak now, winning trophies is a bit far fetched for them. Also, maybe they all have relegation wage deductions and these days It seems mostly about money so maybe celebrating the extra couple of grand a week they get.
