But Arteta will have turned Arsenal around because they bunkered in and hit a couple of counters against the top teams. Even KdB is somehow pushing 30 already. I like players like Sterling, Bernardo and Jesus but I think they're a clear step down. The thing is they have the funds to do whatever needs doing essentially.

This effort from City reminds me of Rom when he turned it off in the league and then missed all those chances against United in the semi. It is hard to just throttle it up and down in football because of the physical strain a match places on you.

Sane wanted out but even putting that aside I don't think it is that bad in a vacuum. The problem is we don't live in a vacuum and Mahrez style is completely incompatible with Pep's system. He has never fit really.
