What exactly is stopping Watford and West Ham for passing the ball around for 90 minutes and taking 0-0? I know that leaves them technically at risk but it's a lot smaller for both than if either loses.

I didn't realise how few trophies they've won. For some reason I thought they'd won a fair amount back in ye day but turns out they have won 5 in the entire 100 years of their history...

As ive said a few times,i want Brentford up as ive never seen them in the top league myself,be nice to see a different team up,instead of west brom going up/down every season or 2-thought West Brom would win final 2 to be honest though and stay in 2nd-- Last day of season is wednesday

Think Brentford are deffo up now, Stoke away and Barnsley at home I think they have and they are currently on a run of 8 wins in a row or something like that. West Brom have completely bottled it

Leeds need three or four Premiership quality players or they are straight down again. They have a striker problem (like us) in a centre-forward who misses chances, under no pressure, from inside the 6 yard box. A bit like DCL but worse. In a recent game, he had a cross into the six yard box, no defender near him, didn't have to jump but headed it gently into the goalies arms.

Yeah I'm sure their fans would be overjoyed with such a loser attitude.

I'm sure they wouldn't be but that also didn't stop the West Germans and Austrians from playing out a result that assured the progress of both of them and if they players felt that was the best course here they would too. I do think the fact that it won't be 100% safety means it isn't an issue but it made me think how little the PL could do if they were in a position to assure mutual safety by not playing for real.

Would think WHU goes for it, if they win this they are all but mathematically safe, they certainly don’t want to be up against Villa on the final day with the potential for either side to go down
