West Ham are like the Southern version of the Barcodes. Delusions of grandeur, dodgy owners and usually crappy managers. Being a Blue can be quite depressing at times so thank god for teams like these.
No way should we be on a similar points tally to Cans United though.
Whenever they bang on about having to play the West Ham way I am thinking WTF does that even mean? To me the West Ham way is being a no mark yo-yo club.

I have always associated it as having a very good academy then selling their better ones.

Very true. They obviously had some decent players in the 60s, a good team under John Lyall in the mid 80s and played some good footy around 2006. But the rest is pretty crap. Never won a league title. Basically a mid-table team with the (very) odd cup win.

Yeah, they’ve produced some very good players in the last 25 years: J Cole, Carrick, Ferdinand, Lampard etc. Weren’t Terry and Kane there for a bit too?
Almost as good as Southampton: Le Tissier, Shearer, Bale, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Certainly better than our output.

Shame Wolves never picked up atleast a point yesterday as results have gone very well for us this week.

A shock win tomorrow and 7th is definitely on.

Don’t think we’ve beaten Spurs since 2012. We’re e really due a win against them. Think that last one was when Pienaar and Jelavic got two very, very late goals.
Results haven’t been great for us since the restart. Just seem to be stuck around 10th-12th. That poor start from Silva was a real killer. Big missed opportunity.

Yeah and the capitulation against Newcastle was the biggest 2 points dropped I think I'll ever see in the manner of how it happened.

Major major strong police presence at Anfield to send out a message. They’re the yanks of the city.

Ironically if we had still sacked Silva but he gained an additional 10 points then we would be under Carlo ancelotti chasing a champions League place . 10 points would have put us right in the mix with the foxes dropping and 5th very much on.

It's the Everton way. Getting to 2/3 of a season and asking what if things had gone a little different

2006/2007/2008 last time we won there, and yes its the pienaar/Jelavic one

Spurs have lost just three of their 27 Premier League home games against Everton (W16 D8), and are unbeaten in their last 10 against them. Those three defeats came in three consecutive campaigns between 2006-07 and 2008-09

Spurs current 14 game unbeaten run against Everton is their joint longest run without defeat against a specific opponent in the Premier League

It was so frustrating. I really want European football next season. We rarely have decent domestic cup runs so we can’t really complain about fixture congestion. But we’ve probably left it too late.

That game was brilliant - still remember going mental when we got the winner not often you seen us score 2 goals that fast to win a game.

Yeah im not expecting it as you said we kept that clown in a post too long should have been gone after the Norwich defeat.

If we dont make it hopefully we improve the side next season and actually give it a good go.

Remember watching it via a stream, and had sky sports news on who said there was not 1 but 2 late goals at Goodison, the second that was said the 1st Everton goal came on my screen, i then thought this been Everton that we had made it 1-1 and spurs had kicked off and went right down other end and won lol
