It isn't even a stats thing. Every time I watch them he lounges around when the other team has the ball and basically only makes tackles/interceptions in his own half or on the edge of the box. No pressing at all. Passing it is mostly sideways. Nothing super penetrating. Accurate sure, but it isn't hard to be when you take no risks.

Yep,they must have done that thinking its over for them trying to get to the play offs, been 9 points behind with 5 games to go after the home defeat to Cardiff, a win for them would have left them only 3 behind them though so that was a big game

Well for me it is De Bruyne and pick any other City midfielder, but also Kante and Kovacic for sure. I really like Ndidi and Maddison as well.

He's pretty much the same player as far as I can tell. Sarri trying to turn him into a box to box and not just a destroyer was weird but it didn't stop him from destroying.
