I back our good players like Richarlison, Digne, Holgate.

The rest are a muddle of inconsistency and bang average players.

People wonder why we dont taste European football or even get a sniff of a cup Semi Final these days - look no further at the tosh stealing a wage at the club.

People wonder because we’ve put faith in too many garbage managers since Moyes left, we had the chance in 2016 to win a cup double and Martinez bottled both semi finals and firebombed our European campaign the year before that, Koeman got us back into Europe and barely got us through two qualifiers before getting us royally embarrassed in the group stage

....I understand the strategy of playing from the back but I can’t understand why teams do it who don’t have the personnel to pass it through the opposition. Bournemouth are a classic example.

We do it and yet our threat comes from the running power of DCL and Richarlison.

I wouldn't bat an eyelid if most of the players at the club were sold tomorrow - biggest bunch of pea hearted and inconsistent players I've seen don the Royal Blue Jersey.

Last time I was genuinely gutted losing a player was Lukaku and I doubt anyone but Richarlison would get that same reaction if I heard we had sold them.

Anyway 33 G+As isn't remotely close to 20 which is the count in Sancho vs Hazard.

Tbh @Eggs I’m not sure that was playing out from the back. Just desperation. Sakho has done it before, he’s just a klutz.
