Sheff United are a bang average outfit. They’re being outclassed by a terrible Newcastle team here. Another season where we’ve missed an opportunity to get close to the top 4.

I don't think that Sheffield United and Wolves are anything other than functional, well organised side's. They are where they are because so many Premier League teams have manager's who talk about having a passing philosophy but have little understanding of the basics.

It seems most clubs believe they can't break the glass ceiling of the Top 6 so they would rather have the image of playing nice football. It looks good a couple of times a season and they get plaudits from the media but get shown up when they are up against side's with a genuine game plan.

It's why Burnley qualified for Europe recently.
