I've just discovered here are the venerable Bundesliga teams Haaland has scored against in a league of 18: Augsburg (14th), Koln (10th), Union (12th), Frankfurt (13th), Werder (17th) and Schalke (8th whom the yank thinks are bad).

If you can't see the intended sarcasm to rile someone up you're gonna have to exit this conversation. If you discount goals against poor teams like he did with Kane's then that's all Austrian league goals gone, all Bundesliga goals gone, and you're left with a few in the CL.

I also never said "who would you take" I said who is he currently better than and he's not a better striker than Lukaku right now.

My bad just noticed. Well bold the 7 players Haland is better than then.

What I'm going to do is make tiers instead. And I'll add Ronaldo in because he does play as a pretty standard #9 more often than not at this point. So here it goes.

Tier 1:
Lewandowski
Ronaldo
Mbappe

Tier 2:
Aguero
Aubameyang
Haaland
Werner

The "18 months ago they were arguable tier 1 but it isn't 18 months ago" tier:

Other players belong here but that's just from your list. Benzema is one I'd have here I think.

The "He scores a ton but I refuse to believe he is world class" tier

If we did this in December I'd have had Haaland in his own tier called "If he can do this in a better league he might be way higher." Now he is doing it in a better league and to me he is way higher. Top 5? Well you decide if you want to move him above those guys but I think I could. Aguero is still great for example, but personally I think Haaland would score an easy 30 in that City side.

For the record I did not say that Schalke are bad just that Wagner is. I actually like their squad.
