Neville out as England manager for the women's team. Always thought it was bit of daft appointment in the first place, made for the wrong reasons. Letting him stay for another year so he saves face a bit but he's essentially been sacked.

TV surely beckons, can't see where he goes as a coach.

Agree a daft appointment in the first place but he had some success in the first year or so. Its only really since the world Cup that it's gone wrong really.

Wouldn't surprise me to see him in men's football soon.

Have him back in a heartbeat

The cancelling the season thread is closed so I'd rather post it here I guess?

How you can possibly resume a sporting season months after it was suspended seems odd to me.

The 2019/2029 season is sadly associated with the current pandemic, I strongly believe starting a fresh new 2020/2021 season would be uplifting and give that optimistic look and feel to 19 out of the 20 clubs.

Need some oldies knowledge here: what was the crack with Matt Le Tissier? Never actually saw him play in a game but of course seen lots of his worldies online. Decent stats for Saints but only 8 England caps and never moved to a big club?

Was he actually a great player or just someone with the odd screamer in the bag?
Was happy being a big (very well paid) fish in a small pond and was by all accounts a bit of a bell

yup there is that famous interview clough did with revvie literally just after it happened and he said 7 weeks is barely enough time to even get to know the local butchers and that it was a sad sad day for football

mad to think we nearly had both revvie and clough as managers as well
Madder to think how we messed it up - twice...not too bothered about Revie tbh.
