I don’t know what came over me with this if I’m being honest. I think the whole thing just wound me up after the boat went down in Greece last week.

That poor lad must’ve been terrified even before it all went tits.

Personally thought the Canadian/US coastguards were extremely professional and if deep sea rescue in international waters is going to be part of their regular remit then perhaps the wealthy on those trips might conisder stumping up a bit more tax money to equip them.

The clue is in the name "US COASTGUARD" not the US deep sea guard.
