I really don't think anything is going to equal the Clattenberg Derby. The most biased refereeing performance I've ever seen watching any team, let alone us.

It might be a generational thing but for Blues of my vintage, the Clive Thomas game stands head and shoulders above all other calamities visited upon us in a derby.

And the bugger of a ref whom didn't give the penno in the Milk Cup Final of '84 when Hansen blatantly stopped Sheedy's goalbound shot with his hand deserves a mention in despatches.

Hansen one hurts most still. most horrible one was the year when the replays showed Gerrard whispering...'red that ref' and the coward then changed his card. it was a reds fan told me that had happened and he was proud of it.. sign of more to come
