The whole Syria/ISIS thing has ruined me for world politics. The time to step in was 2 years ago and still nothing. The powers that be don't care how many captives they torture/murder/rape/all of the above. They only care about their massive game of chess and their own hides. BUUT If there was western intervention it would have to be in coalition with Arab nations so it wasn't just "infidels" vs "holy warriors" The people they are hurting most is where they are, nuking would only make us bad murdering [Poor language removed].

Haven't ever really been for military action, but the time for intervention here is beyond question in my eyes. Should have went in 12 months ago and squashed it before it got properly started.

I find the ISIS thing genuinely scary compared to any other terrorist group over the past 20 years.
there is no real agenda, they are just killing for the sake of killing. they are taking over towns and nothing is apposing them which the more it grows, the fear by itself will allow them to grow to a massive scale.
and the worst thing is that we do nothing. they are pulling different nationalists in to behead/murder/burn for propaganda because they want a reaction. English/french/american/canadian/jordanian/japanese to name a few and none of these nations are doing anyhting apart from sitting on their arse. They know they can get away with what they are doing and therefore growing as a feared group.
We need to go to war, we need to end this before it cant be stopped.
