I'm happy just being the better team, turning into Stoke won't get us more points, just less players and more injuries. I like the fact that Fellaini aside, we're generally regarded as one of the better behaved teams, that being said, when was the last time we won the fair play award. We are dirty plenty.
Fortunately we don't dive much because that drives me mental. I noticed a lot more of it last season which was the one real negative of the season for me, but compared to those around us its pretty negligible.
Personally I'd rather we stayed fair and honest than became snidey and dirty.
I have no respect for players that stamp on others, kick lumps out of others, swarm the ref etc, just says to me that they are not good enough to win without cheating.
That being said I think refs should book anyone trying to wrongly influence their decision, in the face? one warning then book them, still there send em off, they'd soon stop. Diving book them, dive twice your off, dive then get in the refs face.. see ya.
Its the only way to stop it happening.
