Time for some optimism

Dont know what to think, Martinez has his team in the relegation zone, fair enough he might have a lack of resources but people are demanding more off moyes despite his lack of funds too.

Id just like to see moyes given a chance with a £10+ net spend for one window then judge him, would he still play Neville?

This we could manage.

Nobody is demanding more in regards to league postion IMO

What we want is a manager who can change tactics week by week instead of the same thing year in year out

What we want is a manager who attacks games that we can and should win, Games like Norwich,Reading,QPR and Wigan, Go out to batter teams and play them off the park

What we want is a manager who goes to places like Anfield and Old Trafford and trys to win instead of looking for a draw

What we want is a manager who looks at the likes of Osman and Neville and thinks "You know what those two would be ****e at CM together"

^^THIS^^

Optimism?

you're kidding right??!

35+ years I've watched Everton. Home, away and abroad. I have never in all my time seen such a lack of fight, passion or determination as i witnessed on Saturday, from any side, in our famous shirt.

Every last bit of optimism I had was blown to bits watching that shambles.

fook optimism.
fook Everton.

Oh FFS

1 - I still don't want him Who do you want then? Neville?
2 - While he may be well over the hill he has done well for the club. No need for this. Oh and he has raised his kids Everton fans. LIES
3 - Money would be nice but why sell our best player? He has wanted to leave for 6 months and WILL leave.
4 - Koff ?????????????
5 - Like Villa? No like 90% of other clubs who give youth a chance. Barkley's career has stagnated because of Moyes who insists on playing Osman 60 games a season. Every player needs a break!
6 - Who? Andy Johnson, Yakubu, Beattie, Jelavic, Saha
7 - ?????????????? You will have to wait and see on this one. I said during Jella's purple patch (wait until Moyes trains this out of him). Perfect example is how that clown Steve Kean realised the Yak should only goal poach and not close down-17 league goals in a relegated side. Moyes ruins strikers!
8 - We have playe dosme fantstic stuff, thsi is nonsense. Yeah our football in 2013 has been Brazil-1970-esque! Just like our football for Moyes first 9 years! #dire

Oh and there are about 10 threads for the above points already
Well go and comment on them!

Pretty good signings, bar gosling but we didn't spend much of that on him. Id be happy enough to see him spend that kind of money again and extend his contract.

I understand where you're coming from tactically but but overall, including his transfer business Its a huge gamble to let him go. At the moment I'm pissed off and wouldn't mind the gamble but after the mist has cleared it might not be so wise.

hard to be optimistic with all the uncertainty surrounding the club. we don't deserve to have this BS going on after all the years of support we have given this board/manager. Billy no balls and his megalomaniac manager.

No as he hasn't played him when Gibson & Coleman are fit so why would he play him with more players in the squad?

Yes. This. 100% this.

I've been back and forth of late but my mind is made up. Thanks for everything Dave, you've moved the club on no end but you can move it no further, it's time for a change.

Optimism. I'm an Evertonian, it's what we do. From the sale of Alan ball to Gordon Lee, to last day survival, to last saturday I always know things will get better. We'll bounce back, (sorry), I just got home from work, today I put a tenner on with a couple of the lads we beat City by one goal. Lets face it we can't get any worse than last saturday so why not? Optimism, it's what we do, (and grumble a bit).

Come on Everton!

I still have hope, but it's tough to be optimistic. I can't even fathom what sort of manager Kenwright will look for in the summer.

I admire people for thinking it's going to get better when we lose a brilliant manager and our best players, personally just can't see it.
