Player Valuation: £40m
Jelavic looks far from the player who joined us in January. With Rangers Healey and Lafferty shared the work up front, but he's had to run the line by himself for most of his time with us.

Pienaar was fresh when he arrived back from Spurs but now plays almost every minute of every game and is much less effective.

Maybe our football has become less sparkling because our regular XI are tired mentally if not physically?

Could the manager make better use of Oviedo, Naismith, Hitzlsperger and Barkley in particular to revitalise the second half of our season?

I agree. Our problem is that we have a good first 11 but a poor 2nd 11 so we can't change things too much. If we were in Europe as well we'd be screwed.

Come on now he gave Duffy a whole 3 mins -whow thats a start he is tacticly usless a player has to get injured before he thinks of producing a substitute! Fair do's to Oldhams Manager he used all three at the right times - as soon as the big fella came on for them DM should have sent Duffy on for PN & told him to man mark him!

Moyes said I think we've got a squad od 14-15 really good players. Outside that 14-15, Moyes obviously only sees them as casualty back ups.

He really should be using the likes of Barkley.

Duffy no. That substitution was suicidal.

Giving Stones a game at RB and Barkley a game at CM v Norwich surely a great chance to rest ossie and Neville as starters. Cup now a real real chance. Squad not utilised enough for me, hard to say players aren't up for it unless they a good chance i.e 2/3 games.

The problem is that Oviedo, Naismith, Hitz and Barkley just arent really good enough

This really, though I think Oviedo's a pretty useful player.

The likes of Naismith and Hitzlsperger have no business being in a squad that harbors ambitions of finishing in the top 4.

You cant say Naismith hasn't been used.
