2025/26 Tim Iroegbunam

He got subbed after that ridiculous booking he had a very good game made room for DH to create in midfield who was our MOTM !
Agree with you. I think he adds something when he plays. He's got more ability to turn under pressure and dribble out of pressure than either or Garner or Gana and he's more athletic. There's definitely a good player there with the right coaching.

He did okay, the sort of performance he needed really. Pleased for him.

All he offers really is energy but sometimes that's all a midfield needs to get control of a game.
Eh? He's our best centre mid on the ball. He has it in his locker to drive forward and score goals if he believes in himself more. He has all the tools to be a very very good box to box midfielder.

Yeah and the fact we have a midfielder whose only qualities are "tall and has energy" and he's not that good on the ball at all.

What a great team combination to have like this.
He is good on the ball. He's strong, has a good touch and has the dribbling ability to beat a press. He's shown it on multiple occasions this season and last season. Maybe you missed it.

We looked better today in midfield as Moyes played 3 in there, with Dewsbury-Hall playing on the left, and Iroegbunam on the right side. Tim is very strong, puts in a great tackle and is good on the ball. As we needed to wind down the game Moyes subbing him for O'Brien and moving Garner into midfield was the right thing to do. Iroegbunam can hold down a place in our midfield which with the addition of Rohl is looking pretty strong.

His ability to keep his performance levels up is a big problem. Last 10 minutes he was on he was a liability, we just can’t have that sort of drop off.

I think it's fitness really, along with Rohl. Added to that the yellow card, a little silly doesn't help.

He definitely needs consistency, game to game and as you say to do it over 90 minutes.

Today was encouraging as he had a solid, decent game. He can be a bit feast or famine, but today he did well. And that's how you become a useful player, doing that most weeks.
