2025/26 Tim Iroegbunam

He needs to bounce back from this. So many loose touches, and he genuinely seemed surprised that there was an opposition player trying to close him down whenever he had the ball.

He's got a lot of physical and technical attributes that could make him a good midfielder in this league, but there's a lack of discipline and awareness that I'm worried he'll never have.

I’ve said it a few times takes too long on the ball you don’t get that luxury in the premier league. He’s not the worst squad player but prefer to have someone else and him getting regular minutes elsewhere. The issue is we’ve had these players coming in not ready you’ll get away with the odd one in a decent side but surrounded by other lack of quality isn’t good but we’ve had no choice in recent years.

Quite simply a number 8 rather than a deep lying player in a double pivot
Thought this for a long time. From first time I saw him his standout attribute was ability to drive forward with the ball. Not as good but reminded me of the way young Ross Barkley could drive through the middle of the pitch. For whatever reason Dyche and Moyes seem to have tried to make him a deep lying pivot and he doesn’t look so naturally suited to it.

As most have said, there’s defo a talent there.
