2024/25 Tim Iroegbunam

Perhaps an attitude thing...the guy is massively talented and probably the best of our midfielder footballing wise. Not sure if he has the intensity and the hard working approach of a james garner for example, something we know moyes really like.
It may be, because there don't appear to be other reasons why he'd be constantly behind Doucoure in the pecking order.

I mean we’ve only seen him a handful of times let’s not go overboard. He looked good but undisciplined early in the season and hasn’t started a game since. We’ve got no idea how good he actually is really.
But we do know how bad Doucoure is in general, and even more so when he's played over a half of football, he basically becomes the opposition's 12th man at that stage.

There’s potentially an experiment at some point to see what Iroegbunam and Alcaraz would look like in a midfield three with a good holding midfielder behind them. I’m not convinced either of them are a 10 or have the discipline to play in a midfield 2.

I'm not yet sure what Iroegbunam is or could be so it would be nice to give him a few games.

Bizarre also Alcaraz isnt being used centrally

Hope so, but Garner is 25 next season. Cant see him getting much better.

Tim has more scope I suppose, needs games.
Yeah Garner's 24 with best part of 200 games under his belt, I'm not sure there are many more gears for him to go through at this point. Tim could be anything truth be told, we've seen so little of him it's hard to tell if he's a massive talent or just a half decent prospect.

Yeah maybe you're right but he was playing well last season and this season has been hampered by injury for him. Hopefully (like some other players e.g. Chermiti) he'll get a good pre-season under his belt which I think will help. I also don't think he's been as bad this season as some say.

Yea I agree with that, he has not been bad at all, just very meh.

I think this is it, and to some extent a bit of a problem when people are built up. After a while theories start going round as to why they're not playing beyond them not being the best option with people speculating about attitude, which I'm not sure is helpful.

I'll give you one thing not his attitude as to why he may not be playing-his pass completion. It's very poor.
