2024/25 Tim Iroegbunam

Another who just doesn’t look fully match fit after his injury. He started bright under Dyche.
But he really didn’t start bright. His strengths were something we hadn’t seen in a midfield player in a while. His weaknesses were also very apparent at that time, and still are.

Really think he was a resale plan by Thelwell.

Fixed PSR for us last summer and a short 3 year deal so that this summer he could be moved on for £10mil+ unlocking a decent chunk of PSR.

Sell at the same price and we could give a 5 year deal out on a transfer fee of £16.7mil

Writing him off is ridiculous but to be fair he’s a first team player in the PL who cost £10m and who is probably paid more every week than most people on here are in a year, he’s going to have people commenting on poor performances.

So weird when people bring up premier league footballers salary v ‘ordinary people’ why is that even a factor.

Bizarre

Watching people kick a ball around a field is a bit weird when you think about it isn’t? Once you accept we’re all on here talking about that, commenting on how much they earn for doing it hardly compares in terms of being bizarre does it?

We're not getting anywhere near £10 million for him

There was a lot of people blowing his early season efforts way out of proportion tbh. He looked decent, but nothing more. He'll need to step up if he wants to be a Premier League player. Hopefully be can do it at Everton as he's got the physical attributes needed for it.

Clubs make mistakes about young players all the time like EFC and Robinson for example. But they should be given a decent chance, so play Tim and Chermeti for the rest of the season and let's make a decision based on demonstrable facts.
