Dobbin might not be getting a game from us but he has a highly rated youth career, is still young, and can improve in a good side with a good manager.

They also have a lot of games next year, and he fills a english quota.

The deal isn't getting done for purely financial reasons, its because we want the player too.

No, i think you are being overly suspicious about something,

Yes we are using a PSR thing to our advantage, no ones even saying otherwise, but we also do want the player.

@blueblue I don't disagree, but i also don't think we are going to sign a player we won't be using. We will be using him.

@Nymzee I agree, but that doesn't mean we don't want the player. Our PSR is relatively small, that doesn't mean we don't like or didn't want the player. It benefits us on multiple levels.

Its not exactly unlikely that a young midfielder who did well in the championship and has played a bit in the prem is of interest to us I do think people are putting two and two together and getting seven myself.

More of a "they can't let him play now as they're in Europe, not in midtable" way really.

He's not good enough for the top end of the table right now but maybe has the potential for it basically. I have no idea as I've never even heard of this lad in my entire life and we're definitely not shooting him straight into the first team anyway so this is probably down to happen, if at all, with new owners or when we sell players.
