Tim Howard

Hadn't Martinez said a while back Tim would still get a farewell performance? Don't think it has anything to do with Joel

Ok with it...season all but ended last Saturday as it is. It's not as if he is fat and out of shape and incapable. Full disclosure: I'm an American and completely biased.

Martinez: "Hi Bill, thanks for not sacking me just yet, I really feel I can turn it round."

Bill: "Glad to hear it Bobby, always had faith in you, so how are you going to go about turning it round?"

Martinez: "Well I'm gonna start Tim Howard in the last 2 home games."

Bill: "I got nothing Bobby, get out."
You've clearly made that up you swine !

I'm probably in the minority here but I don't actually mind him playing the last two at Goodison. He's been a good servant over the years - granted the last two have been awful - but he deserves a farewell IMO.

;)

Think the reaction to him playing is a bit unfair. He's been a good servant to the club and we have nothing to play for. 10 years is a long time in football.

he is just a helmet if he does this, lets halt joels progress to give a below average keeper a parade on his way out, pointless and martinez massively off the mark if this goes ahead
why he should he get away with it? he will now get the booing he deserves and should have had for the last 2 years
