The obvious danger of giving him a lovely carriage clock to reflect his long service is the very high risk that he will then drop it.
No, I jest. For the most part, he has done a very good job for us, and has to be remember he only cost £3m I think. For that, we were never going to be signing a top talent but rather a decent talent who would have a whopper moment or two most seasons. Which is exactly what he did, for the most part he was absolutely fine but with some awful howlers along the way. You always knew one was due soon, lurking in the shadows.
