Hilarious that even when he is leaving you tits cant even respect his service. Those fans on here are probably the same ones who boo him at games and scream profanity behind goal. I applaud his "arrogant" attitude against those tossers. They deserved it and more.

He deserves a good send off and a loud chorus the final day. A decade with the same team? There are few players who will ever reach that pinnacle. Give the guy his due. There are thousands of new supporters he is personally responsible for opening a door into the Everton family.
He gave his best to the club and now that his best isnt good enough. Move on. He is.

Last couple of seasons were not the best, but prior to that he has single-handedly (no pun intended) kept us in matches.

As much as I've grown to dislike Howard over the last year, I can't ignore his services to the club over the years. Should of been sold a couple of years ago or even retired however I wish him the best.

I doubt that. Since he will be back in the states most fans of the sport will already have their favorite team. Not like any English are going to suddenly like MLS.

The obvious danger of giving him a lovely carriage clock to reflect his long service is the very high risk that he will then drop it.

No, I jest. For the most part, he has done a very good job for us, and has to be remember he only cost £3m I think. For that, we were never going to be signing a top talent but rather a decent talent who would have a whopper moment or two most seasons. Which is exactly what he did, for the most part he was absolutely fine but with some awful howlers along the way. You always knew one was due soon, lurking in the shadows.
Should have our warm thanks, best wishes for the future and just all a year or so too late.
