I just hope he doesnt have a testimonial. Whilst arguably a good servant his last season has heavily tainted his record especially the perceived arrogance to fans.

Good luck to him,never really rated him but wish him well.
Running out of people to moan about, he is going, kenwright hopefully taking a back seat, only need walker mk2 to get sacked and I might enjoy being an Everton fan again

Stability is an underrated attribute in soccer. Nobody appreciates it when it's there, and then they slate you for it the moment it's gone.

And that's the Tim Howard at Everton story. He made sure we didn't have to think about keepers for, what, 8 years? Wasn't the greatest, but good enough. Couple that with his recent decline, and as you said, neither vast praise or outrageous ridicule.

Tim Howard will join Colorado Rapids at the end of the Premier League season in a deal thought to be worth around £415,000, bringing to an end his 10-year spell at Everton.

I think it's sad that he has been put in this position of villain. At the end of the day up until 2014 he had a great relationship wit the fans, not dropping him hasn't just hurt us but him as well. Sadly he will be remembered for his mistakes not his great saves that he made throughout his time at Everton. I don't believe that any player deserves the amount of abuse he has received in the last few years. Anyway good luck to him.

Good luck Tim, recent mistakes should not overshadow the fact that he was a reliable keeper for nearly a decade they are hard to come by. Such a tough position being a keeper it's easy to remember the mistakes but a string of great saves get forgotten about easily.

Wish he could have kept his form long enough to get there. Only two Americans have ever had a European testimonial and one was way down in the semi-pro depths of German football.
