He's been a terrific servant.

Not many players last 10 years at one premier league club anymore.

He's been showing signs of decline for 5 years now, but it accelerated for the last 2, unfortunately a few fans will forget the clean sheet record he very nearly broke and the excellent defence we had under his leadership from 2006-2009, alas the decision to drop him came 2 years too late, and ultimately part of the reason Martinez is under such (rightly so, btw) pressure.

As others have said, he's probably stayed a season or 2 too long, but I hope most people remember the decent years he gave us, not the garbage this and last season. My favourite memory will be the penno save at Villa in Bobby's first season, unreal save that.
 

Good move for all parties this, he has been a good player for us but clear to see his time was up. Will miss the fume he generated on here but he will live on in my avatar.

Will go nice with the 7th place trophy, and the two semi finals we had over the past 10 years too.

10 years - 0 trophies.
 
He's done a bit of a Distin the last couple of seasons. Shame really because he was a good keeper for us a few years ago.

3 and a half year contract in the MLS though?! If he's declined this much over the last 2 God knows what he'llbe like in 20129
