Martinez said McGeady wasnt in talks and yet he signed, also Eto'o wasnt leaving and left the next day.

This colorado rapids speculationis hopefully true.

I cant see any reason to play howard other than him being potential dressing room poison.

After the cup game we will either be in a final or not...either way with only one key game left (were not finishing 4th and never were) martinez needs to take action...

No communication or shouts to his defence I guess over the last two games basic common communication totally missing!

I sit in the Park End when i go the game, been when both JR & TH have been playing and the difference in their communication is HUGE. Howard is absolutely silent whereas Joel is always talking, doing everything he can to help the centre halves.

For example, the Dagenham game. Matty Pennington came on played CB, there was an instance when he pushed up a little too much when JR had the ball, all over a sudden Joel is screaming telling him what position to be so that if he neede to pass to him, it wont go wrong. Ive never seen Howard do that, never.

Think its telling that Stones has avoided passing to TH several times, but in that City cup game he had no issue playing it to Joel. When your CBs dont trust you, you're finished.

No matter how [Poor language removed] Howard is NOW it is 100% manager's fault

We will get punished because of him week, after week, after week and martinez with his stupid smile on his face will keep saying 'but he made an important save at Newcastle'

been pointing it out for a couple of years. Every deflection seems to end up in our net with him lying on the floor.

When you break down his traits, you do wonder how he's had such a successful career. He's always been purely a shot stopper, and i'm fully aware i'm pointing these out despite never being a keeper or anywhere close to resembling a football player, but:

He's not commanding,
He doesn't collect crosses,
He stands way too far off his line which means he's early to curl the ball around from distance,
He's slow to come off his line when he actually needs to,
He dives out of the way of the ball when facing one on ones;
this contributes to him being beaten at his near post more than any top keeper i've seen
He slices a lot of kicking clearances into touch
and goes to ground way to quickly leaving large gaps in his goal

In short, he's pitiful

Yeah but apart from that he's boss :)

Two years left on his contract...if Roberto is still here, which lets face it, unless we get taken over he still will be, then that means Howard will be first choice for another 2 seasons after this one. Genuinely won't continue to watch us if that happens.
