How would you or I know? I imagine ManU might let him out on loan for 6 months but his wages will be extortionate. But then again ManU have said they would cancel his contract if he were to join a Club outside the Premiership so a Loan would seem unlikely from his Club's end.

Newcastle will have enquired about him as an emergency loan and ended up resurrecting Elliot instead, probably tells you all you need to know.
