Would understand if we were talking about normal keepers but you are talking about the best 3 keepers in the league.

Of course its speculation, it's impossible for it not to be. But to me, and I'm sure plenty of others, saying you'd have Howard in nets ahead of De Gea is a bit like saying you'd rather have Naismith playing left mid than Hazard.

Doug is right here. You need a keeper to get on with his defence. There needs to be a trust.

Last season when Howard was at it worst you could physically see the defence not trusting him.

Whatever I think of him as a player he seems quite a sound fella and no one deserves their private lives splashed all over the place like that.
