Think he might for another positions where there was experienced cover, eg Distin, but not to the extent of risking playing an U21 goalkeeper in a match.

I like Joel, I think he thrives on the confidence of getting a run in the team. Fair points though, that Hull game was depressing for all concerned.

Still not even close to being as bad as some of the things Howards done

One bad game placed right in the team Howard has times that X ten , and he plays most of the time!
Look give Robles a run , and see if he makes the grade, if he does alls we need to do is look at a no 2 keeper and save us millions when Timmy leaves for the MLS hopefully soon as possible!
If Robles lets us down, the look for a good young keeper, and pay millions!

Do you ever mention a good save Robles ever does, because as much as I call Timmy on here I do credit him with the odd save sometimes you just seem immune from pointing out Robles saves he made two very good save in the 1 st leg v City!

Did you watch Tim against Leicester last year? That was the worst goalkeeping performance ive ever seen, nothing joel has ever done has been that bad

Ten years too long you mean in his heydays Tim was only a shot stopper good for five seasons tops, and that's being generous !

I think you all have just blocked out the Barnsley match, is all. Perfectly understandable -- I wish I could forget that first half.

Howard's definitely made some howlers, don't get me wrong, but that goal haunts me.
