I'm not really sure what's worse: that people on Twitter can post anything without any basis in fact and people will latch onto it, or that people are so willing to believe that Tim Howard is the worst goalkeeper in creation that they will see a figure as obviously ludicrous as "14.2% save ratio in last ten games" and think it must be true.
If your eyes are really telling you that Howard lets in 6 goals for every save he makes, can you blame me for not trusting them?
he could catch the ball , now and again so yesGeorgie Wood was a better keeper than Tim Coward!
Howard on yesterdays game, "I know the fans are disappointed, we all are, i will have people in the crowd who support me and people who are critics, all i will say is i know a lot more about goalkeeping than they do, its that simple isnt it, i'm good at my job and i'm doing it well, if these guys make it as a pro, then they have the right to an opinion on me"
Make of that what you will
please tell me He never said that.i'm good at my job and i'm doing it well
Im on my phone at work at the mo, will provide full quote later, its defo his words, think he said something very similar last season actuallyplease tell me He never said that.
I remember Howard sarcastically clapping the fans yesterday too.
Totally agree that booing is counter productive.
Yeah it was that booing that ruined our season. Nothing to do with crap management from El Coco.Agree. The fans booed last season when we were 2 up. The effect on the players was bad as it derailed our season and now the fans are starting again. Horrible idiots. Would you give it all if fans were on your back. No wonder our players want to leave.
